We chose this cruise as a way to have something for everyone to do. The 17 and 20 year olds were happy and satisfied. However, my partner and I did not enjoy ourselves to the level we expected due to the constant thumping of music in every dining and outdoor space. The Solarium is advertised as an adults only space. It is NOT adults only. We ate next young crying children and whining babies. There were drunks on the Solarium deck yelling to their friends on other decks. There were several people who hooked their personal ipods to their own speakers and blared their music. We were told that children are not asked to leave unless they are causing a problem even though there is an adults only sign at each entry. Everyone's noise tolerance and tolerance for dining with crying and whining is different. If it says ADULTS ONLY, it should be adults only. The staff did not address the yelling drunks or the ipods with speakers or the children in the Solarium restaurant or on the Solarium deck.. The ship's music was so loud on the top level of the Solarium at times you couldn't have a conversation with the person next to you.

We were assigned to the Silk dining room. Our waiters (Pedro and Wilfredo) were wonderful and the food decent for the number of people they must serve. However, every night they played top 40 type music and played it loudly! The dining area is three levels high with hundreds if not thousands of people eating at once. The added thumping and lyrics of the "radio" type music were annoying and so unnecessary! We complained numerous times and nothing was changed. What about some nice piano music or jazz guitar? Or just have NO music! The experience was the same in the other public dining spaces such as the Windjammer. We typically arrived to eat breakfast at 7:00 a.m. to beat the crowd and the noise. Before you could finish your first cup of coffee, the music was blaring through the whole restaurant at a level that should have been reserved for the public pool deck- not for dining.

Beware of the private or group flowrider lessons. They advertise an hour lesson but our kids each got 6 minutes of instruction. Not worth the money. We did get a refund when we told them it was misleading (you think they will get an hour of instruction/riding).

The cabin was as nice if not nicer than any ship we have sailed on- roomy lots of storage. They do not supply shampoo or conditioner unless you ask for it- which is pretty skimpy!
