The overall cruise was the typical Carnival experience. Nothing negative to note. Yes, the construction was still going on, with all the previous complaints Carnival made sure to give us ample opportunities to get a full refund. Each cabin was giving a $200 credit and kids under 17 were given a free excursion. That was a generous offer for which I am grateful.

The dining was good. I especially liked the Blue Iguana Cantina, really wish it were open longer. Although my son thoroughly enjoyed Guys' burger joint, I couldn't partake since I don't eat beef. Alternative patty options would've been nice (turkey or veggie). I enjoyed the steakhouse, enough to say, I've been there, done that and I won't be back.

The Your time Dining room option needs work. There were major lines most nights for dinner. Perhaps using the app to take reservations could help with the congestion.
