This was our 4th cruise with Royal Caribbean. It included my husband, his sister and me. Every cruise on RCI was an excellent experience. On March 19, we sailed out of Galveston, TX on Liberty of the Seas for a 7- night cruise to the Western Caribbean. Our dining experience was, as usual, very positive. Asst. server, Joy Ann, in the main dining room was an absolute delight as well as efficient and professional! Lead servers were also very attentive. On our third night in the main dining room, we were moved to a different table even though we arrived at our reserved time. This was somewhat disappointing as we felt we had lost the excellent service we had received from our servers and lost our table overlooking the water. We soon got to know our new waiter, and he was also very attentive. One of the executives in the main dining room, helped by assuring us we would be well served. As it turned out, our new table was at a very desirable location and we ended up requesting to keep it for the remainder of the cruise.

I was injured in the extreme zip line excursion in Rotan. Our guide had us do a tandum zip line. My partner had his legs around the lower part of my body which prevented me from raising my legs so my shins hit the platform at the end of the line. We did this twice. The first line went well; I was injured on the second one. I believe our guide should have coached my partner to place his legs around my waist as he did on the first tandem which would have prevented my being injured. Also, the guide were breaking us with the use of a rope that he had to pull, and he may not have had the strength to adequately slow us down. I have one leg with scrapes on it and the other shin with a serious hematoma which 8 days later is still swelling all the way down to my ankle and very colorful.

In Belize, we chose an excursion to a Starfish Island, which is beautiful, and I highly recommend it. The beach & water are beautiful. There are opportunities to kayak or snorkel if you like or just lay out on a beach chair (no charge), and you can rent an umbrella for a nominal fee. The excursion included a buffet lunch, which was very good.

We had an interior promenade stateroom. It was clean and comfortable. A problem occurred when we arrived and found we had no hot water. The water was only luke warm. We told our room attendant and asked him if he was the person we should report this to, he told us he was. . We were traveling with a family member who was in an adjoining room, and she did not have hot water either. For the next two days we all had only cool showers. So our other family member asked our room attendant about it and was told he would report it. By day 6, we still had no hot water so our other family member called guest services and had to let them know we were very unhappy about not having hot all week. Then we FINALLY had hot water!
