Anyway, ship was fine. It was my third cruise, second with NCL but a first for my husband, and definitely sufficient for a honeymoon if you invest in a larger cabin. Passing through the hallways of the other cabins, we saw how small they looked, and were thankful for our larger cabin. That being said, if you know that you will not be spending much time in your cabin, and you want to save some money, an inside cabin wouldn't be the end of the world.
We were in the Pisces Suite, 8202 and it was great. Equipped with a stereo, expresso machine, jacuzzi, and massive balcony, I highly recommend it. Antonio, our butler, was wonderful as well and would always deliver room service right away and assist us with anything else we needed.
The ports of call were wonderful, especially if you enjoy hitting the beach. We opted out from all the cruise-line excursions and took our own cabs to the places of interest. In Nassau, we invested over $100 a person for an all inclusive day at Atlantis, which was fun, and worth it if you like water rides. Otherwise, I believe there is a beach you can visit for free. Freeport was nice, but Great Stirrup Cay was great. The water was crystal clear, we could see fish swimming while standing in 4 foot water.
Entertainment was allright. Matt, the cruise director was very entertaining and energetic and we enjoyed the comedian. The song and dance shows were allright. Like I said, this was a definitely a good starter cruise.
We were nervous about the weather, but the heat wasn't so bad anywhere. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the NCL Sky for a trip to the Bahamas!
