I have taken many Royal Caribbean cruises - only one with another cruise line. It might be time to retire this ship.

Embarkation - we were supposed to have priority boarding but did not receive it. Also, when we first stepped onto the ship, I asked what to do with my luggage - keep it with me? - I was told yes which was probably a miscommunication as we didn't see anyone else schlepping their luggage while waiting for cabins to be ready. My cabin was showing wear and the bed was SO uncomfortable. Others that I spoke to felt the same way.

We really enjoyed our wait staff (Ramanand and Ashish) in the main dining room and the food was delicious! We went to the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch and that was generally pretty good.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

The bottom sheet came off every night. Two mattress protectors on the bed (extra padding? Very uncomfortable mattress). The bed skirt showed wear. The comforter appeared dirty at the top. The sheer curtain was coming down on the far right end. The glass on the balcony had paint smear and rust so you couldn't see through some areas of it. I would add pictures but this site seems to require me to sign in or register.
