I chose this cruise based on the ports. We had done this same cruise on the Valor 3 years ago and this being a smaller ship there were a lot of differences. I had a credit from a prior cruise that we cancelled which they applied to this cruise, however this ship was more money for the trip by almost $300 pp compared to the trip we took 3 years ago. I don't know if it was the time of year March vs. Oct or the ship Fascination (smaller ) vs. Valor( bigger ship). We had a jr suite but really I think it was a suite. Rm v1 at the end of the hall on floor 11. My parents were supposed to be in V3 but had to cancel. The people in that room were very quiet so it was like nobody was down at the end to make noise and disturb us. Our room gave us Priority as well as this was our 5th cruise which elevated us to gold status. We took the pre cruise transfer from the airport which cost us $18pp . They gave us the option of taking our luggage or sending it and have it arrive in our room. We chose to send it. BIG MISTAKE. We had priority status as I said ,so our luggage was Guaranteed to be in our room when we got there. We chose a boarding time of 4-430 pm. Our luggage did not arrive until close to 8pm. We were unable to enjoy the use of the pool because our bathing suits were in the luggage. I will never do that again. Our room steward IDA was fabulous!! I cannot figure out how they always remember our names. She always was friendly, said hello, chatted w/ us and did a great job. The muster drill was at 9pm so we ate at the buffet as we were waiting for our luggage to change to eat in the dining room but it became to late. We loved all the ports except St. Kitts. We also found our room to be a bit smaller especially for a suite and the balcony was quite small compared to some other ships we have been on. We did have a nice little spot at the bow that we felt like was our own little area because the stairwell was next to our room. It was great for taking sunset pics.,

Day 1 St. Thomas

We decided to visit Coki beach because last time we were not all that impressed w/ Magen's bay. we got a taxi $9pp to the beach and pd $5 pp for a chair. There was no cost to enter the beach. It was crowded a bit but not bad and the sand was nice as well as the water pretty clear. Pearl was the waitress who would bring over drinks from the bar if we ordered anything. I would go back to this beach again.Snorkeling, paddleboarding and flyboarding is available for an extra fee
