i chose this cruise to celebrate my late mothers birthday who loved to cruise, i began cruising Norwegian Jan 2016 using the money she left for me to travel and spread her ashes, this cruise port is close to my home and the date as well as entertainment that was onboard along with my favorite destination the Virgin Islands is why i chose this trip, the ship is very large and i prefer smaller ships , the studio cabin was my 1st experience and i actually was comfortable, i met other solo travelers but did not attend any dinners or shows but did enjoy the cocktail hour before dinner i had in mostly upscale dining rooms, i was sorry to see the menu has changed in Cagneys and Le bistro and since i dine alone most night this will effect my purchasing the dining package in the future, the main dining room Taste was lovely when i visited, i loved the pate, and the manhattan room was a nice restaurant. My biggest enjoyment were the shows onboard, my favorite was the Cirque Dreams as well as Burn the floor, i enjoyed Priscilla as well. The ultimate beverage package is what i do not enjoy!!!i Many people had been served too much . my biggest problem is when i booked my excursion to Jost van Dyke only 1 time of day was available it was suppose to be a longer stay at the beach as well as a longer sail to get over, for 139.00 pp it said 5 hours, instead they booked up a 2nd time excursion and we were only on the beach 3 hours, given a rum punch on the way back and hurried so they could go back to get the others...we barely had time on shore on st thomas and the stirrup Caye was missed all together so it was 5 1/2 days at sea....that was very disappointing .,The cruise became a booze cruise....

Cabin T1

this cabin needs work on closet doors, one was missing when i arrived, the other one became stuck in front of sink and had to be removed, i requested it stay off during my stay once it was finally removed.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

lines were long regardless of time selected for checkin out on the hot side walk.

St. Thomas

not enough time to do much but shop

Great Stirrup Cay

could not be accessed , and no other port was offered, a wasted day at sea with more people drinking
