Wish we had done more research prior to booking. First shock was the size of the cabin. At 152 sq ft, not a lot of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Ship was "revamped" in 2012 but she shows her age despite the facelift. Food was great, no complaints there. Staff was also very friendly. Feels like they are doing their best to accommodate you despite being on run-down ship. Bless their hearts... If you are looking for on-board activities, book another cruise. Not much to do if you are younger than 50. Entertainment geared towards more "mature" passengers. One of the reasons we booked this cruise was because of the Youth Program. Great option to have if you have kids and want to enjoy some alone time. Only wish the amenities were better since the rooms the kids use seem a bit small. Besides that, there is nothing else for kids to do on-board. The shore excursions are literally a tourist processing business. Have to say, they have it down to a science. We like to go off the beaten path. Hard to do but you can still try, otherwise you will end-up with the rest of passengers, feeling like sheep being hurdled around. VOOM internet was a rip-off. Works more or less ok in lobbies and pool deck but in the cabin, good luck. Hard to stream any shows (Netflix, Hulu, etc...). Overall, not sure at this time if will do again. Perhaps a different ship, newer with more on-board amenities.
Small; no, tiny...
Just visited port area.
Taxi drivers take to you to this overcrowded beach next to the port. Felt like sardines. Left there and walked along the beach until we found an area with almost no tourists. Managed to swim, do some snorkeling.
