Traveled with children

There were 4800+ passengers on the ship when we were on, including many families and drinking-age spring breakers which meant long lines and not much time for the crew to provide any individualized attention. At times, the crew seemed indifferent and the few officers I did see always seemed to be walking quickly somewhere. Senior staff e.g. dining hall (not sure I can call it a Garden Café) and elsewhere should be sure not to look down or talk down to crew in front of passengers.

I traveled with 3 children and their food preference was the "Garden Cafe" buffet for wide food choices. But on most occasions when we arrived there were no tables to eat at. Not fun having to split up and strategize against other hungry passengers just to get a table. Other times we found a table but then had to wait for it to be cleared. Similar waits at the dining restaurants (OSheehan waits were approx. 20 minutes and even some passengers with reservations had a wait). One time, a family ahead of us with a reservation had to wait whereas we had no reservation and ended up being seated before them. It was difficult to make reservations for dining or activiteis and, overall, the food was just ok with a few disappointments (hardened waffles, rotten orange, fries and no vegetables served with steak). There is apparently no dress code for the complimentary restaurants (Savor, Taste) either, so be prepared to be seated near the hairy guy in a muscle shirt and swimming shorts.

Many on the ship had the unlimited beverage package included and so there were waits at the bars too.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Small but functional and clean.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Weather too rough for tenders.

New York (Manhattan)

Booking a NYC excursion at disembarkation helps to guarantee that you will get off the ship on time.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

There should be more activities on board when the ship is in port, especially when the passenger count is high.
