I took my sons (28 and 21 years old) with me on our first cruise ever. We had a lot of fun. There is always something going on, so we never got bored. The staff was friendly, rooms clean, burgers were great (dining room -- not so much...) Some things that were annoying; 1. why have a salsa bar, but offer no tortilla chips to put the salsa on? we were told that it for burrito toppings only...It would've been nice to sip margaritas by the pool and nibble on chips and salsa. (just sayin)
2. Review your sign and sail statement carefully (we didn't even receive ours, I had to request it over the phone after we returned home). I found over $60 in charges that were not valid. (still waiting on confirmation that they were removed).
3. We had Joseph as a waiter in the Silver dining room -- he was fine, but his helper was a jerk. He wanted to argue with everyone if something was not right with their food or drinks. I asked three times for Parmesan cheese, he never did show up with it. Same thing the next night when we asked for refills on our drinks. Food was just okay; i expected much more from the formal dining room. It stinks that they close virtually every other restaurant on the ship by dinner time, so you have no choice than to go to the dining room.
Our cabin mate was excellent. we had an issue with the toilet the second day, he took care of everything quickly.
Very sad and dirty... should've stayed on the ship
