This was only our third cruse, the first two being on RCL. We are 58 & 62 yers old. Our extended family booked Epic for a small reunion during March 2017. Since it was the dreaded spring break window, we were a little concerned with having the ship over run with teens & kids, but this was rarely an issue.
There were not many college kids, the one's that were there were of the more mature variety than a typical Carnival party boat, and the less mature one's were friendly and humorous anyway.
For kids: one cousin & spouse had their 7-8 year old. She had a blast in the special kids zone. It was reported to be well supervised and kept her happy while mom & dad could go on excursions & do cocktails & dancing until the kid zone let out at 9 PM. A lot of people must have taken advantage of this option, because except for the pool the ship was not overrun with kids.
Small, weird bathroom setup, plenty of storage space, clean, ok. We had 2 person interior. Would recommend the solo studios two friends had individually. Newer, nicer, smaller rooms.
Very pretty beach and well kept private island. Nice lunch & beach break. Not overcrowded.
