Norwegian Sky was a perfect choice for my bachelorette. I looked at many reviews of cruises before booking this one and I am so happy with my choice. The main reason I went with Norwegian Sky is the open bar. This cruise is amazing for groups that are mostly concerned with having a fun, party weekend - I would not recommend this for families.

Getting on the cruise was a breeze. We had all our documents pre-printed and hardly had to wait at all. We got to the port around 11am and was on the ship around 12pm. We got a spot on the top deck of the pool and the party started from the moment we stepped on the ship. The bar was very fast moving, since there was no money/card transaction. The staff was always very nice and helpful.

Food - the buffets were good and as expected. Again, do not go on this cruise if you want top notch food. This is a fun, party atmosphere. We did eat at both restaurants - Crossings and The Palace. Food was great at both - Crossing service was a little slow. The Palace was our favorite due to our amazing servers. They helped us get the party started that night by constantly refilling our glasses and joking around with us!

Port Reviews

Nassau

We did not do an excursion. We went to Cabbage Beach for a $4/person cab ride, which took about 7 minutes. This beach was great - nice sand, nice water and nice people. Bring your own towels!

Great Stirrup Cay

This island is really nice. Great sand, clear water and tons of beach chairs. The food and drinks are included with your cruise. So drink up and have fun!
