We arrived in Seattle 2 days prior to embarkation. Stayed at the Grand Hyatt (FANTASTIC!) As a side note, we stayed at this Hyatt when it was brand new shortly after 9/11 the place and the service was as good now as it was 9 years ago and is in a fantastic location downtown!

Now onto the cruise. This was our 2nd cruise to Alaska and our 10th cruise overall. We have cruised on RCCL (Royal Caribbean)most of the time (Radiance to Alaska 6 years ago). This was our 2nd Princess cruise. (We were on Diamond 5 years ago to Mexico)

We chose Princess due to fantastic deals they were offering and the fact that the ship was being refurbished in May. Read more
