Just got back from 7/07 cruise. Beautiful ship but it had nothing else going for it. Staff was surly, service abysmal. Americans do not like menial work. Waits for seating at restaurants of 45 minutes, even though one could see empty tables, not worth it since the meals took over two hours and if the waiter did not feel like going back to the kitchen, you did not get your appetizer or salad even if you had ordered it.
Cabin cleanliness left much to be desired. Even though we had written confirmation of tours, they did not have enough seats for us and were annoyed at our insistence that we had confirmation and resorted to telling us that the tours had been cancelled. The sofa that opened for the third person, blocked the exit to the door cabin creating a fire hazard. It was also impossible to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without stepping on whoever was sleeping on the sofa. Passengers resorted to helping each other since the crew could not be bothered. Only one coffee urn worked the entire cruise and two days before the end of the cruise, they ran out of skimmed milk, cereal that the kids would eat ( I'd like to meet a kid who would eat All-Bran) and other food.
By the way, do not spend your money on getting a cabin on deck 10 since they got their suitcases the day after we sailed and the aerobics room is directly above them. Their bills have to be gone over with a fine tooth comb due to all the errors.
