Embarkation was smooth and fast. Much better than port everglades. Seemed to flow much better. Low wait time to embark. Disembarkation went the same way. Smooth and fast.

SHIP: Not anything to write home about. This is an older ship and it shows. A lot of worn out items here, from deck chairs to theater chairs. Not a lot of stateliness to this ship. I found a lot of areas that needed attention as far as cleanliness and attention to detail. Main dining room, windjammer and chops need more attention when cleaning the place. Food and crumbs on the floor and window sills, who knows how long those have been there.

Windjammer serves the same food for breakfast everyday, no variety there. Most of the lunch and dinner items are the same as well. Very few changes day to day. Food was average. Staff is moderately attentive to cleaning tables. A few dining experiences our plates piled up on the table. No shout outs to the designer of this ship as they placed the basketball court above the windjammer, so all you hear during dinner is ball dribbling and people jumping on the court above you! Chops grill was average as well. I cant honestly say in my opinion that it was not worth $35 a person extra. The steaks were cooked as requested but topped with brown gravy ?? Never heard of that. Wasn't tasty either. Our waiter seemed a bit pre occupied with other things as our food was continually served to us late. (we were the first to be seated that night as well) others were eating before our food arrived. We were always one course behind others that sat after us.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

The cabin was pretty much outdated. Worn furniture, drapes, deck chairs, etc. The only newer item was the small LED TV. This room needs a make over desperately. The bathroom is worn out with stains and burn marks on the sink, like from a cigarette. The toilet had a water ring worn in the bowl showing its age. The shower seemed a bit smaller than any cabin shower I've been it before and had a very worn floor. The furniture seemed cheaply made and showed its age with wear. Rust and peeling paint on the balcony. Balcony chairs had holes in them and stains. Found hardened toast jelly on the balcony table. Balcony sliding door and balcony glass was very dirty, hard to see through. I ended up cleaning all that myself. The bed was very comfortable I will have to say. The refrigerator did not work at all, it was plugged in, the light came on but no coldness.
