We booked this trip as it was a great deal and went to Tunisia and Algiers where we hadn't been.

The ports were great and we enjoyed the included tours were fine. We also loved our cabin and are now spoiled!

As usual, the food was excellent and the crew was always friendly and helpful, but for some reason the feelings I got while I was on the ship seemed a little off. I can't put my finger on it, but that's the overall feeling I got. This is not what we normally experience on Viking cruises as we love cruising with them.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

The cabin was excellent and we loved the size and amenities. It was almost too good as we spent more time in it than we should have! It will be hard to go back to a smaller cabin.

Port Reviews

Tunis (La Goulette)

We really loved the museum, but wished we'd had more time there.

Tunis (La Goulette)

This was one of several stops, so we didn't have a lot of time but had time buy a few things. The town was very nice and definitely a picture taking mecca.

Tunis (La Goulette)

The tour of the Baths was excellent and there was hardly anyone else there so we didn't have to fight any crowds. It was also nice to be right up and personal with the ruins.

Sardinia

This was the second time we took this tour, but they did a good job of showing us different things. Plus, our guide was very good at pointing out other things to do during the free time if you didn't want to shop. We visited St Anne's and St Michael's churches which were in walking distance.

Valencia

We went to the Lladro Factory on our own and it was good. The only problem was that it was a Saturday so most of the factory was closed so all we got to see was their small setup they put on for the cruise ships. It was still interesting, but not fully what we wanted to see.
