Cabin: Concierge Class 1

This was my 2nd cruise on the Infinity. The first cruise was in Aqua Class. This time I tried Concierge Class. Overall, the cruise was wonderful. My cabin 7212 faced the stern which gave me a huge balcony. In addition, the room was handicapped so it had 50% more floor space. Unfortunately the sliding door is positioned so you cannot see the water from the seating or bed. The bathroom was huge, but the handicapped accessible shower did cause water to get all over the floor. But, the additional floor space was nice but I would opt for a regular canin next time. Food throughout was good. Last time I was in Aqua so I could dine in Blu and I would say The food there was better; some of the menus in Trellis main dining room just didn't make sense but the dining room staff were wonderful. Trellis, the main dining room did well most nights, but some things they just do not do well (like steaks, for example). They also had very few fish offerings for dinner. The top deck buffet was very good, as was the pool fast food area. The lounges were very nice and the service was excellent. As usual on Celebrity, I thought the entertainment was exceptional. So, overall Celebrity did a great job.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

7212 is a handicapped room. Floor space 50% larger with huge bathroom and faces the rear of the ship. Counter space in bathroom very small so for 2 people the bath really is not practical. The shower is large, but being handicapped accessible, water tends to go everywhere. While the room is large and the deck huge, the location of the sliding door makes it so you cannot see the water from the seating area or from the bed. While I enjoyed the extra space, I would opt for a regular cabin next time.

Port Reviews

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)

We toured town on our own. If I were doing it again, I would go see Magellan's ship. We had lunch at Sotitos - wonderful King Crab Salad.
