Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We went on the March 5 sailing. The food was great, the service was great and the cabin was wonderful.

For us, we found the ship too large. It took way too long to get an elevator and there was too many pre-school kids on the ship. This class of ship is really geared towards families and we had a load of kids on the ship. There is an adult only atrium section, but if you didn't get there early enough then the seats were all taken. Te main pool was way too noisy for us and for most of the cruise was way too windy and cool to be out on deck. The wind seemed to swirl around and come down into that section. The other indoor pool is small and is crawling with kids yelling and screaming.

The food and food service was amazing. We were waited on hand and foot. We could not ask for better. The dining hall is another matter. Gone is the nice grandiose two tier dining hall and replaced with rooms that look like a banquet hall. We love the grand dining hall of the older ships.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin was located over the Jamie Oliver outdoor restaurant, so we didn't have a direct straight down view of the ocean, but it was good for us, since we didn't have as much wind.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Just use this port to get on the ship

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We went to Cocoa beach and walked around

Nassau

Not much to do if you don't go to Atlantis. Atlantis was too expensive, so we did a horse and carriage ride around the town and did a little shopping.
