Have had great experiences with Viking River Cruises, and wanted to see the Caribbean in a smaller vessel than the horrific 5 - 6,000 person mega liners. Viking seemed to fit the bill, we were not disappointed.
Particularly liked the Norwegian fare in the small restaurant in the Explored Lounge; also the excellent choice and casual atmosphere in the buffet style dinning at World Cafe on same [7th] deck. Not being heavy drinkers did not go for the drinks package, but found the included wines all very good and appropriate to the meals.
Excursions were very good; though some island tours somewhat clouded by the poor state of the economies of those islands that have not kept up economically with their much flaunted independence ! The cat trips to more remote beaches etc were a lot of fun and very relaxing. Submarine trip quite an exciting experience, but not likely to repeat it.
Very comfortable, plenty of room. Great mattress, linens and shower. Room service excellent. Included laundry an added benefit and much appreciated as we like to travel light.
