I had never been anywhere in Africa, and this cruise visited Tunis (the medina and a Roman aqueduct ruin) and Algiers (the botanical garden, the basilica, and the martyrs' monument), plus Valletta, Cagliari, Valencia, and a breathtaking view of Volcano Stromboli. Superbly co-ordinated transfers from Rome airport to ship and ship to Barcelona airport. Wonderful food. Excellent, informative lectures, on geology of Mediterranean and World War II in North Africa. Five computers with fast internet access. Beautiful ship with lovely artwork throughout. Tours ran on time and guides were excellent, and fluent in English. Heated towel rack and bathroom floor. On one tour, I left jacket in tour bus -- the guide found it and returned to ship lost-and-found where I claimed it. Spacious stateroom with bed fit for a king. Expert classical-music trio (violin, violoncello, and flute). Gracious, attentive, high-class service throughout, from EVERYONE. I had trouble (fault of the airline); could not print boarding pass last evening of cruise -- the guest service agent was helpful and comforting -- and (GASP!) -- he telephoned the airline and enabled me to talk with a REAL HUMAN BEING about the problem!!

Cabin Review

Cabin Luxury

Spacious, immaculately clean, wide bed with lovely linens, well-appointed, safe in closet, plenty of hangers and electrical outlets. Heated bathroom floor and towel rack. Veranda too!
