We like cruising out of Charleston because it's only a 31/2 hr away from Charlotte, NC. Parking at the port was quick, and both embarkation and debarkation the same. The ship was well run and clean. Our cabin (M211) was well maintained and attended to at least twice a day. The steward was friendly and accommodated us with anything we needed. We found the crew also to be friendly, and we complemented them on their hard work. The Lido food was good, and we never had more than two or three people ahead of us in line. The Pizza and Deli lines took a little longer because everything is made to order, but never took more than 6 min or so. Tables were easy to find, as well as lounge chairs around the pool. We were seated at a table for 6 at the main dining room, so it took longer to eat there; but food was good as well as the service. On formal night, the lobster was $20 extra to order; but they served prime rib and shrimp--good enough for us! Drinks are pricy so stick to the drink of the day. As for the ports, Nassau was a good shopping port, and Half Moon Cay a great beach stop. Unfortunately, the shows were repeats for us; but we loved the steel drum player! His music certainly put us in the "Caribbean" mood, and we were so glad that the it wasn't earsplitting or hard rock. Loved that! So all in all, the Ecstasy is not a luxury ship; but a good value for your money, though 5 day cruises are too short for us. We much prefer 7 or 10 day cruises , so we are glad to see longer cruises offered next year. Can't wait!

Cabin 6C

Very convenient to elevator which goes right up to Lido deck. Ship's engine noise puts you to sleep, and hardly any rocking. Steward was very attentive and kept cabin ship shape.
