Viking takes such good care of you from the moment you arrive at your destination airport until you check in for departure. I have never had a cruise line that stays with you on the bus to the airport and at the airport until you reach your check in desk on your departure. Most just drop you off at the front door of the airport to fend for yourself.

Our shore excursions were so well planned and executed. The Flamingo Dancing in Barcelona ranks up there with some of the most amazing things I have experienced in my travels. We did optional shore excursions at several ports and although they are a bit expensive, I felt they were well worth the money.

I love the way the dining room is divided up so you don't feel like you are eating in a ballroom or other huge room. The dining areas are intimate, but great fun to share tables. We met such interesting people at dinner and enjoyed every meal immensely. The buffet is one of the best I have ever experienced as well.
