Sail Date: Jul 2016

In 2015 I sailed on one of their river cruises from Budapest to Amsterdam. I was really impressed with the quality this trip which was the reason I selected to do a Baltic Cruise on one of their new cruise ships. This cruise was of the same high standard that I experienced on the previous river cruise. The tours provided at each port visit are of a high quality and really provide an excellent understanding of the culture of the area. The quality of the accommodations on the ship were outstanding with services such as internet access, beer and wine available at meals, soft drinks in your stateroom, laundry facilities all without any extra charge. My experience sailing with other cruise lines, these services are provided only with additional charges. The detailed briefing prior to each port visit allowed you to make the most of each tour. Another benefit traveling with Viking is that you are met at the airport and taken to the ship. The same service is also provided on your departure at the end of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Varanda

Having the stateroom at the stern of the ship allowed to be able to see out either side of the ship. This really provided a valuable experience when sailing through a fiord in Norway. I have selected the same location on my upcoming Amazon River Cruise with them later this year. Excellent accommodations were provide in the stateroom.
