Norwegian has got to be the top of the heap for cruises. The Pride of America is just the right size ship. You're fairly near to all dining areas and entertainment venues. Excellent Specialty restaurants, especially Cagney's Steakhouse. The crew is extremely nice and the freestyle sailing is wonderful. You do everything when you want to not when some cruise director pushes you to. They do Hawaii very well, and I would recommend booking a suite when and if you chose this cruise. As we are Senior Citizens, Shore excursions were chosen to limit physical activity on our part. The whale watching and sunset cruise was wonderful. Being in a suite you have priority boarding and disembarking at most every excursion. If you are young and healthy, they have great volcanic excursions and hiking and snorkeling excursions. Pearl Harbor and the Honolulu city excursions are also a must. Finally you must book the whale watching and luau excursions if you do nothing else on this cruise. I have been reluctant to cruise for many years, but would consider cruising with Norwegian at anytime in the future.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SH

My wife and I are senior citizens so comforts, stateroom location, and slower pace are important. Very comfortable cabin. Large, and the king bed was very comfortable. Great, very large balcony was appreciated. Large bathroom was wonderful. Couldn't have been more pleased. I recommend booking a suite on the starboard side of the ship. If and when we cruise again, we will definitely choose Norwegian.
