We were quite pleased with our cruise experience. The cabin (oceanview 2556) was more impressive and roomy than we had anticipated. The cabin appointments were good, the cabin was clean, and generally was above our expectation. The bed was a disappointment. The mattresses are not comfortable, and the cheap memory foam topper did not help. The steward was efficient but indifferent.

The meals and service staff were a real highlight. Vishal Shirsat (waiter) and Chenai He (assistant waiter) were exceptional. Each meal was very good.

The public areas were very good, and the walk up restaurants were very good. Inexplicably, sushi was only available in the pizza parlor. Sadly, this ship did not have Starbucks onboard, and it was missed.
