A friend looking for a quick getaway received information about this particular cruise and passed it on to me. Based on recommendations from others who had gone on the cruise, we decided to go for it.

Complaints: (1) Too many kids, even in the Solarium--which was supposed to be an adults-only space. Crew seemed very reluctant to police kids who were out of control (climbing on railings; running around the dining room; hopping from chair to chair on the deck. (2) Coco Cay beach experience - RC promised a barbecue on their private Island. When we reached the island (12:30- 1:00) our first task was to secure seats and relax in the sun. Went to get food around 2:00, only to find that it was all gone--there was not even water or juice to be had. (3) Cape Canaveral port of call was not very interesting. There was nothing to do unless you were travelling with children and planned to go to the amusement park--which I understand there was very little time between the travel to and from to really enjoy the park.

Overall, I think we made a good choice. The ship was beautiful, there was much to do on board. Especially appreciated the galley tour and brunch, and the comedians were great.

Got off the ship and toured the nearby areas on our own. Took a local water taxi ride to and from Atlantis.
