I was somewhat apprehensive about our cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong on this ship as there have been a number of negative reviews about the ship. I really don't understand why, the ship is perfectly charming if in need of a little updating and care but really its a beautiful ship. Cabins are lovely and very, very clean as is all of the ship. The theatre is a delight, comfy seats and somewhere to put your drink whilst watching a splendid show, something different every night. When not in the theatre there is plenty of other venues, quizzes, music theme nights and more gentle areas with lighter music to enjoy. There are good quite areas to escape to. The Al Bacia coffee shop is amazing, great coffee and fantastic cakes and good service. We found the staff to be lovely in all areas especially our State room attendant Gede he had the most wonderful smile and couldn't do enough for you, thanks Gede. The food in the main restaurant is of high quality ok sometimes it wasn't as warm as should be but that was only a couple of times out of the 14 nights!!! Drinks are served nicely too.

OK the ports of call are somewhat to be desired as you have to travel a long way to see anything, we knew this before we went as we had done our homework so remember to research, a good company to use for excursions are.. Cruise Excursions.com, they show you something different.

Just one negative about the end of our cruise..we had to disembark at 10am and wasn't flying until 11pm..a long time to wait and there is nowhere to leave cases, as there was four of us we had four large cases, 2 hand luggage cases and holdalls, you certainly couldn't go very far with that lot!!! we asked at reception if we could leave them in the secure are of the port as the ship wasn't sailing until the next day and there was a lot of security around, they said absolutely not!! so we enquired what was on the top of the port building, they said shops/restaurants...believe me, there is NOTHING as yet. So we went to the airport early and sat there for 12 hours before the flight which is another 13 hours, we feel that once we had finished our cruise we were abandoned, such a shame really because we enjoyed the ship and the cruise but felt let down at the end.
