We have cruised most lines over 30 years. Have no cruised Royal for a number of years because we never enjoyed the food.

We tried it again because Celebrity has not come out with a new ship and have been on all Solstice class a number of times and wanted a change. We do not like big ships, but thought we would give it a try. Went with some friends, all young and active 62 year olds.

First the ship is beautiful with lots of great venues. The weather for 3 days was terrible and the crowds were too much. However we stayed away from the buffet and managed to really enjoy the dining room, mini bites, park cafe etc.. The last three days were great. The food all around was surprisingly good all around the ship.
