We choose this cruise because we could drive to Galveston - save on airfare. We didn't know it was spring break for many north Texas schools. There were lots of kids on board, but that was ok, because the ship has an adults only pool area. This ship handles crowds very well. We had early dining in Michelangelo and were able to go to all the shows after dinner. Dinner was fine in MDR. We did breakfast and lunch once in MDR - would not recommend that. Stick with Windjammer. Ice show as great. Nightly shows were very good. Bartenders were slow except in the English Pub - they were good there. Service at Solarium bar was good at times. The young man who served pizza at night in the pizza parlor was always smiling and happy! Quest show was very fun - go to this if you can! We had an inside room that looked over the promenade, 8613. It was fine, liked to open the curtains and let the light in. We could see the action from there too. My husband liked the Wave Runner - give it a try. My sister-in-law and I liked the two person water slide. The 77 steps carrying the tube can be a challenge for some! There were plenty of loungers - at all different levels. If it is windy - there are chairs by Johnny Rock that are protected. This is a great multi-generational ship. They have an extensive splash area, then some wave pools and also an adult only small pool and hottubs. RCL needs to publish what soft drinks are available on the ship. You had to hunt for coke zero! There was diet dr pepper in two liters at some bars. Our traveling companions bought the premium drink package. They got tired of signing the slips of paper. RCL needs to get rid of that. They usually go to all inclusives and could are not believe how slow the bartenders are. This was their 1st and last cruise. They are going to stick with all inclusives. I would recommend this cruise.
RCL needs to oil the exercise equipment.
Cabin good, showing a little wear. Liked the shower doors.
