Sail Date: Jul 2009

My husband and I recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas, the four-night route out of Ft Lauderdale to Key West and Cozumel. This being our seventh Royal Caribbean cruise in two years, we were not disappointed with the cruise, service, and food.

This was our first time to leave out of Port Everglades. We were a little disappointed in the port. The parking garage was confusing and the port facilities were a little seedy. But, we got over it. Parking in the garage was $15 a day. There is also park-and-ride about a mile down the road for $12 a day (it will be on your left and right before you enter the port). The buses looked like they ran very steadily. We checked in and got through security without difficulty and were eating up at the Windjammer within about an hour of port arrival. Not bad at all.

We really enjoyed the ship, Enchantment of the Seas. It was very different than other Royal Caribbean ships we've been on and we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't see much wear and tear. The ship was in good condition and inviting spaces to lounge and dine in.
