Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

Our trip had an auspicious beginning. We had elected to stay at the Intercontinental Miami and were thrilled at our reception, our accommodations, and the staff every step of the way. We enjoyed every moment of our two night stay here.

Getting to the Port of Miami and parking went smoothly. We 'sailed' (pardon the pun) through the check-in process and happily boarded the ship to begin our much anticipated cruise. And then it all started to fall apart. The centrum of the trip resembled a garage sale or flea market with staff noisily hocking drink packages, internet packages, and reservations for Chop. The only way on was to pass through this gauntlet. Not enjoyable in any way!

We made our way up to the buffet for lunch - which was passable at best. The food choices were greasy and tasteless. We comforted ourselves with the knowledge that the main dining room would be our meal venue going forward. Again, we were approached by waitstaff from Chop pushing reservations. We had just enough time to grab a bite before the staterooms were ready.

Cabin PV

Poorly maintained. Very small. Dirty.

Port Reviews

Miami

Loved Miami! We toured on our own. Lots within walking distance of our hotel (Intercontinental Miami)

Nassau

Explored on our own. Strongly recommend getting away from the immediate area around the port. We took a cab to Atlantis for lunch and some sight seeing on Paradise Island.
