We chose this cruise for the ports. The cabin was just ok. When we arrived there was black dust on the desk no ice and no bathrobes as we requested. We had to request several times from the cabin steward for ice and the bathrobes. Finally the 2nd evening we received them. He did not seem to be a very happy person. The cabin even though we paid for a deluxe balcony cabin, it was smaller or the same size as the Ruby or Grand Princess the balcony was so small.

The food was absolutely terrible we had the tradional dining in the Allegra Dining Room and the menu was terrible. Hamburgers, spagetti chicken pot pie to name a few. I spoke with the Maitre D and he just shrugged his shoulders. This menu has gone really downhill along with the service. The food was not what we are used to being served on Princess. We met a couple from Florida who said they complained the first two nights in the dining room about their dinners and nothing was done, so they had no other alternative, but to go and pay each night at either Sabitini's or the Crown Grill. They even mentioned that maybe Princess was creating these terrible menu's in the dining rooms to force the guest to go to their specialty restaurants and pay for their meals.

There were several other things we encountered, but I do not wish to publicly express. I contacted Princess about those things. Also, I booked a massage on line before our cruise and the price that I was quoted was 176.00, however when the massage was completed they charged me 195.00 plus tip. I went back down to the spa the next day to have them correct it. The spa manager told me that the price when I book through the computer does not come through on their end. I said that is really strange I book a massage online every time we cruise and this is the first time they overcharged me and the price came over incorrectly.
