We chose this cruise because of the ports and the length. We wanted to go to ports we had never visited and it durely did not disappoint. We took tours in Casablanca, Grand Canary, Madiera, and Malaga. The high point was the toboggan ride down the hill in Madiera and the camel ride in Grand Canary. Both were exciting and fun. The entertainment on the ship was entertaining and fun and the cruise staff went out of their way to make for a great cruise. I was very impressed that the beverage manager asked to meet with me personally after we had a not so good service experience in one of the bars. He could have not have been more professional and nice. We expecially liked The Bistro and Cagneys. The Chinese restaurant was very disappointing and the food just so so.We loved the show called Elements, expecially, and the Motown Review. Bernie with Cruise Next was absoutely wonderful in giving us information on future cruises and the Cruise Next program, which we took advantage of.
Cabin was not roomy, but adequate. The balcony was nice, but the weather was a bit chilly to sit out much. There definitely needed to be more room to spread out a little. I tried to use the desk for a make up station, and ended up having tomove the coffee pot and tray onto the floor for room. The room was very clean and Adrian, our cabin attendent, was excellent. The closet was roomy. The TV very small. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom, especially toilet area, was small, but adequate and very clean.
Loved the beauty of the area and the camel ride.
Nothing open - setting up for carnival.
Migas was charming and we had lots of time to explore on our own. Tour guide was not very good and hard to understand.
Beautiful city with lots to offer.
