My Travel agent suggested this cruise because of price, location and dates. We enjoyed the ship and all of it's wonderful areas like Central Park, the American Icon, the Ice Show and the general atmosphere on the boat. Our dining experience was great and my granddaughters were introduced to varieties of new food, which was fun for us. We did a couple of excursions. the most favorite was the Dolphin Encounter. Our stateroom attendant made our room inviting and surprised s with the towel animals which was a hit. Our only criticism is our departure procedure.Travel agent suggested this cruise for the location and $$$. The Oasis offered something different and provided my daughter and granddaughters the WOW factor of their first cruise. The Central Park area was incredible and something I had not seen before. I thought the kids area with the Merry-go-round and shops were great for families with small children. The only thing that was disappointing was the commotion we had trying to locate our contracted taxi service With the huge number of people coming and going, and the limited and congested roads, he was unable to pick us up in the normal pick-up spot and requested us to FIND him in the drop off area. That ended our cruise on a sour note. We probably moved from one side to the other of the pick-up - drop-off terminal (in a wheelchair) at least six times and over 30+ minutes, which gave us a VERY limited time at the airport. Suggest a larger, more spread out area when you have that many people getting off and then boarding the same ship from the same area......WAY TOO CONGESTED..
