The cruise was wonderful...Our hotel accomadations at embarkation were very nice, and very comfortable. The ship docked right outside the lobby for easy access. Once onboard, the experience was better than expected... The crew were very friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience... And oh yeah.. The food was fabulous!. Our servers in the main dining hall could not have been more accomadating. And did I mention the FOOD WAS FABULOUS! Our cabin steward was very helpful, and was able to help with most of our questions regarding the ship. The evening entertainment was varied, and although not all of it appealed to me, there was no doubting the talent of the musicians and entertainers. Very classy... I would definitely do another American Queen cruise of the Mississippi and would I would highly recommend the cruise to anyone looking for an alternative to an ocean cruise. Fantastic!
Cabin was very nice with everything we needed...
Our tour of the Laura Plantation was fascinatng and informative. Our tour guide, Camille, was was very entertaining, and very knowledgeable. Her insight and explanations regarding the family history of the 'Creole' plantation were fascinating. I would highly recommend this tour.
