Traveled with children

This was my second cruise with carnival. The kids club was fantastic and we loved each individual that was within the kids club. Our cruise started off with what was suppose to be a stop in Key West, but due to winds we could not stop. This obviously was out of Carnivals hands. They done well to be sure and have shows and other things to pass the time the best they could. With high winds, the boat was really rocking and shaking, we traveled with 4 small kids and 7 neighbors who had 3 kids as well. Our dinging room seat was at the very back of posh dining room and because of the weather and where the table was, it was so bad my kids couldn't even eat and all became sick due to the extremity of the shaking and noises. We asked numerous times to be moved to an open table (there were plenty, i even took pics of them all) and the dining room manager absolutely refused. So thanks to him not working with us, we didn't even have dinner this night and my daughter didn't get her 8th birthday song or cake ( it was her birthday).Instead, she spent the rest of the night sick. We had to get up and leave the dinging room because they refused to do a thing for us. The wait staff was very polite, it was only the managers that were unhelpful. However, they did move us 2 nights later (after the weather was gone).

Roderick was the gentleman who cleaned our rooms and he was fantastic. He always remembered our names and done a great job! The waitstaff at the pool was mostly average, one man always forgot my drink i wish i would've got his name. The pizza was amazing! This was our favorite thing to eat on the go. We loved the deli and the grill on the side of the buffet as well. We ate at the steak house TWICE! I will say the service there is AMAZING! They even cut all our our kids food up for them. The food is delicious and I URGE you to make sure you try it atleast one.

Parents, take advantage of the kids dinner with the kids club, have a night or two of dinner alone! The kids enjoy getting to eat with their friends. The casino, we won absolutely nothing lol maybe we are just unlucky. The drink servers there NEVER come by the computerized poker table. Might as well get up and get your own drinks. Also, if you spend enough time in there .. really not much they will offer you "FREE DRINKS". you receive a card for basically the same thing as the cheers program except you have to order from the casino. So if you plan to spend the majority of your time in the casino, do NOT buy cheers. We had already bought it so the free card was useless to us, but my husband asked for something else instead and they gave us some steak meal coupons. Thanks carnival or doing that!

Our cabins were great. These two rooms connected so we left the door between them open so our kids could sleep in it. It was kept clean by the fabulous Roderick!
