This was a really nice, quick getaway. The crowd on board was definitely very young, and liked to drink. This was a Fri-Mon sailing, so that makes sense. It was just my husband and I on this sailing, and we just wanted a few days away with each other to relax.

Day 1 - We arrived at the terminal about 10:45 and there was hardly anyone there. We walked straight through security and check-in without having to wait at all. We sat down to wait to board for approximately 10 minutes. This new terminal is SO nice. Big, so you can tell it can handle Oasis well. We hit the Windjammer upon getting on the ship. The food was really fresh and tasty. I have no complaints about the buffet food at all. We dropped our stuff off in our room about 1:30. Headed to muster drill, which is held inside where you can sit. Went fairly quickly. We then scrambled to find a spot on the top deck to watch sailaway. It's much more crowded on ships that don't have many balconies. We were not able to get My Time dining when I reserved the trip. I tried to get the restaurant to put us on a wait list. I called and went by a couple of times, and they said nothing ever opened up. I also think they were confused and thought I wanted to switch from late to early dining. Oh well. It was a short trip anyway. They could stand to make more space for My Time dining. Food in the MDR was very tasty. We enjoyed dancing with the entertainment staff that night. it was 70s/80s music and they were all dressed accordingly.

Day 2 - Nassau - It was an absolutely beautiful day. We hung out on the pool deck until we docked. We grabbed lunch on board and then headed into town to just walked around. We visited Senor Frogs. Most of the young ones on our ship were there having a great time! I was able to find an Alex and Ani bracelent that said The Bahamas on it. We got back on the ship about 4:30 pm. Enjoyed the live Caribbean band on the pool deck. Rarely see those live bands on ships any longer. We enjoyed the deck party that night.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin SO

It was great to have the Superior Ocean View due to the location on deck 9 and that the room is larger than other oceanviews.

Gorgeous day to walk downtown. Enjoyed watching the crowd at Senor Frogs.
