Just returned from a short 5 day cruise on the Carnival Pride out of Tampa and am happy to report it was great. We have sailed with Carnival 8 other times but always longer trips. Pride has some of the Carnival 2.0 upgrades which we enjoy like the Blue Igana and Guys Burger Joint but the biggest upgrade on this cruise was the staff! Over a dozen cruises on 3 different lines and we have never experienced such outstanding ervice. They learned your name the first day and then greeted you personally the rest of the cruise! The food was good though it appears they have cut a little here and there. For example the prime rib serving was smaller than usual and the room service menu has been scaled back. Seems there was not as much entertainment going on but still plenty available. Overall a wonderful get away. Not sure if the improved customer service is Fleet wide but certainly hope so as it really stood out.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Cabin was clean and maintained nicely. Balcony was nice as usual but could use a fresh coat of paint- no big deal just an observation. Our room steward was great.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

The rating is for "3 Amigos" restaurant located just off the pier in the shopping area. It was fantastic. Great service and very entertaining. Enjoyed a big plate of nachos accompanied by some wonderful margaritas all at a good price point. Worth stopping in before you reboard your ship.
