We chose this cruise for a family girls getaway because Pt Canaveral was close enough to drive to and I wanted to try out NCL. This was my 8th cruise and my first on NCL.

We took the shuttle from Four Points Sheraton where we did the park and cruise. I was very pleased that we were on the ship within an hour of leaving the hotel. The traffic was very backed up for parking at the port so the shuttle was definitely the way to go. There were 4 large ships in port that day. Security was very fast and there were no lines at the NCL counter. We had lunch on deck and were able to get in our cabin by 1:30.

We had an enclosed balcony which was a nice size. I found the room kind of odd with the wave design and my feet hung off the bed. The mattress was very comfortable and there was ample storage. I hated the bathroom/shower set up. The door for the bathroom was so loud and the set up with the curtain was awkward. Our cabin steward Christopher was awesome.

Loved the large balcony even though it was enclosed. I hated the bathroom/shower set up.
