This was our first ever cruise. We did a lot of reading of reviews prior to departure and must say that there are a lot of people who were very negative to Ovation, which I must admit made us a little nervous of the 14 days ahead of us. People moaned about embarking, queues for restaurant and shows, food, rooms and disembarking.......... seriously I am not sure what ship they had all been on !!!!!
As first timers we embarked in Sydney and with an appointment time of 11.00 and were totally processed and enjoying being on board by 11.20 !
Our cabin was much larger than expected and everything could be unpacked and stored away, making us very comfortable for the two weeks.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom
Our cabin was fantastic, although we were on Deck 3, this was a great position for us as it forced us to walk the stairs several times every day for exercise after indulging in all the treats around the ship. It was ALWAYS kept clean and fresh by our amazing stateroom attendant KADEK.
