I chose this cruise for its departure port and destinations. It didn't disappoint. Not an old crowd like I've seen on other cruises. Cruise Director staff offered lots to do and if you were bored then you missed out. Dining room food was ok. Not great. Specialty restaurants were great but expensive. Shows were great. Destinations were great as usual. I have been to these ports before. The new peer at Tortolla was great. Shopping close at hand. You must check out Sunny Caribees for great organic spices and art from the islands.
Check in was fast and we boarded quickly. My wife has a disability and they provided top notch service and assistance getting on and off - better than any other cruise I've been on!
I was also impressed on how it handled high seas on the trip back to NYC. Other ships I've been on didn't do as well. A bit of a disappointment was some of the windows were in bad shape and you couldn't see out of them due to moisture between the panes.
Small but sufficient. Considering this was near the mid ship elevators, we heard very little from our cabin.
NYC is always great
Did some shopping but disappointing to be mauled by the scalpers at the end of the pier.
Roads were too pothole riddled to make it enjoyable
New pier and shows are nice.
