Embarkation in Manhattan has certainly improved and we were on board the Miracle in no time. Horatios for lunch and our cabin was ready by 1:30PM. Except for our daughter's our luggage was delivered by 3PM and Muster was at 3:45ish. All that done - and we were ready to explore the ship, dinner and the welcome aboard show! The daughter's luggage arrived right before dinner so all was well in our 2 cabins :))
Two days at sea - lots to do and the cruise staff were everywhere providing lots of activities, laughs and fun. We played bean bags, bingo, trivia, slots, had a drink or two, enjoyed the various entertainers in the lounges, worked out, attended a class or two, and of course - ate a ton of fabulous food. Our cabin steward was amazing - and it was her first cruise. Thanks Ni!! Loved her. Martin and Sarka in the dining room - took care of our dietary needs and kept us smiling and eating :))
The entertainment was great - the 2 shows - 'Generations' and 'Ticket to Ride' were fabulous- - I particularly liked the Ticket to Ride show. Great stuff. Christopher Alan Graves did a tribute to Sinatra and Sammy Davis, JR - very nice and a few stand up comedians kept us laughing on other evenings and late nights. Having a live orchestra on stage is a big treat - and other entertainers around the ship were excellent and much appreciated.
