We flew in the day before which was perfect, stayed at the Fairfield Inn right next to the airport and for $80 it was fine. The taxi ride to the ferry terminal was $20, we left at noon and got there about 12:30. Embarkation was smooth; we dropped our luggage off with the porters (we did have to wave one down as the terminal was very busy). We had our passports and funpass and zipped thru the line, we were on the ship by 1:05. Our room was not ready until 1:30 so we decided to look around; our 1st impression for us was one of confusion. We did not know the deck names or numbers but after about 15 minutes we found our way around.

We had room U54, which is an Ocean View room and we loved it. We also loved the food in the dining room, absolutely fantastic. The buffet food was in our opinion average buffet food which means neither good nor bad - it did not hold a candle to the dining room and we couldn't believe the people that skipped the dining room and went for the buffet. The drink prices were not bad either...Gin and Tonic $6.50, Cosmo $8.95 and for every Cosmo we ordered we received a $5 match play in the Casino it was a good deal.

For a 1st cruise this boat was perfect for us, 5 days - not too long, not too short. We thoroughly loved our 2 days at Sea relaxing on the deck, playing games with the other passengers and crew. Half Moon Cay was fantastic, looking back I would have rented one of those ½ clam shell chairs or even a Cabana to help us get out of the Sun as we spent the whole day on the Island and loved it. We loved Nassau also, we were disappointed by Atlantis (we did not pay for an excursion there we just visited it, trying to determine if we would vacation there next) and probably not vacation there.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6U

Centrally located, near stairs and elevator but not too much noise. Would pick this location again if not choosing a balacony.
