We chose this ship because of the itinerary (primarily to see St. Croix again). However, as frequent cruisers (several with RC, we were extremely disappointed with most of the aspects of the on-board experience. I've attempted to list some here:
Embarkation: the check-in process was smooth and went quickly. After that things got strange. No one (literally no crew member) was at on the gang plank to welcome us on board. I do not believe we saw a single crew member on our way to our stateroom. Very odd! This was probably the smallest ship we’ve ever been on, but we really didn’t mind that. Everything was strategically located and we rarely got lost.
Room: Our balcony stateroom was newly updated and ample for the two of us. The room was extremely clean and well maintained by our steward. He did his job of keeping everything spotless and yet we rarely saw him. Amazing! I was impressed with how they made the best use of all the available space with closets, drawers and even hidden cabinets. The in-room fridge doesn’t keep stay very cold but it was ok for bottled water. We have no complaints about our stateroom!

Tried to shop but way too many pushy sales people made it miserable. We did enjoy some Mexican food and good street entertainment. That made it at least somewhat enjoyable day.
We have visited old San Juan in the past and enjoyed it.
