Have taken this cruise four times before and we like the itinerary and length of the trip. We also have reached Elite status and this gives us some extra perks.* We have not found any other line to have the same quality of service as Celebrity. This doesn't mean that everything was perfect. We have noticed that over the years, Celebrity has cut back on several things. I guess all lines seem to be doing that. I was personally disappointed that Zumba classes now have a fee. Several cruises ago they had two classes, morning and at 4:00, which were free. A perk afforded Elite status is three drinks a day per person which can only be obtained between 5 and 7 p.m. either in the Sky Lounge or designated bars. Two nights, they held Senior Officers and Captain events and didn't give the coupons for the drinks. So, if you didn't attend the events, no drinks! And, the use of these coupons is archaic and annoying. So is the limited time to use them.
We found there was too much pushing of the Specialty Restaurants. We were with a group, so we did get a discount, but dinner in the MDR use to be of the same quality.
MDR service was wonderful. Table for eight, #529, with Oscar and John, was terrific. Good food in the Oceanview Cafe...sometimes difficult to sit as a group.
Not sure if this was our category, but it was a veranda. Well kept. Our steward, I Ketut, a nice young man who helped us with some very minor issues worked very hard to keep our room spotless.
