We choose this cruise because of the unique destinations. The cabin, Concierge D was adequate and always kept in a sparkling condition by the housekeeping staff. Dining was sometimes the best I've experienced in over 60 cruises, unfortunately on a number of occasions in the main restaurant, Compass Rose the food was not as hot as it should have been. This was a result of the waiters having too many tables to look after. The dishes taken from the Galley were left at the waiters station for what seemed a long time before the hard working waiter could find time serve it

All the staff were the most conscientious I have known, ever so willing to help and always bearing a genuine smile. Regretfully the Front Desk staff, tour desk staff and Executive Concierge did not fall into this category, When contacting the Front Desk It seemed I was intruding on their time and gave the impression they had more important things to do.

Staff on the tour desk were lacking in knowledge of certain procedures i.e.My wife and I were leaving the ship a day early therefore booked a private car for the journey from the Hong Kong Pier to Airport at the highly inflated cost of 279$. When I asked about the disembarking procedures they couldn't tell me.

Cabin Review

Cabin Concierge D

The cabin was fine apart from the lack of space around the side of the bed. To open the bedside drawer it was necessary to turn back the duvet.

The en suite is very nice with lots of space. The balcony is a bit on the small side but adequate.
