Sail Date: Feb 2017
Cabin: Balcony

We are a couple in our mid to late 60s. We have cruised about a dozen times with various cruise lines.

We booked this through CAS for an invitational slot tournament.

We flew from NH to Orlando. Took the hotel shuttle to Radisson at the Port in Port Canaveral for our stay the night before the cruise. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is a very large hotel and was booked solid. While our room was very clean and quiet, it was a long distance to the hotel lobby/restaurant/pool area.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BF

This is a balcony cabin toward the aft section of the ship. We had read on Cruise Critic about the lack of a true bathroom in the cabins but thought we would give it a try. We did not like the layout for all of the same reasons that many have previously listed. We did like the storage in the cabin and the large balcony. Bring an old or expired card to put in the slot inside the door to allow the lights to work. We did have an unobstructed water view from the balcony and it was only a short walk to the aft elevators. There was room for 3 chairs and a small table on the balcony. There was a 4-6 inch pipe in the corner outside the sliding doors. A sign said it was for the fresh water supply for the ship. Noise could be heard constantly coming from the pipe. To me it sounded like the ocean crashing on rocks and did not take away from the balcony experience but it might bother some people. Sometimes when the ship's thrusters were in use, the vibration could really be felt in the room.
