It's hard not to compare to previous cruises on Celebrity Solstice but to sum up first Sun Princess is an older ship with older guests. Solstice excels on style and dining but that's not what matters , what does matter is "did we enjoy ourselves????..YES we did ! "

Sun Princess had .....

Excellent happy crew , genuine service, no hard sell, no long waits for a drink at a bar, brilliant open air cinema , Adult only Sanctuary (fee) comfortable clean cabins , new beds and bedding , easy embarkation and disembarkation plus friendly fellow cruisers.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

We were aft Deck 9 with Balcony on side . We're pleased with hanging space and overkill of wooden hangers great start. New mattress , pillows and bedding were top quality and we enjoyed the most comfortable nights sleep onboard. Cabin steward was attentive as was room service, happy and friendly crew , brilliant. Room a bit smaller than what we had on Solstice and a bit older but really only complaint was disgusting smell up and down our corridors. Can only think it was a plumbing issue as we saw numerous maintenance crew in and out of cabins and doorways. It was quite off putting when heading to dinner and sometimes the smell wafted into our cabin . This seriously needs to be addressed.
