Constant up selling. From the minute we entered the ship till we left. Poor service in the American Icon during breakfast. We enjoyed the smaller ship Vision of the Seas more on our previous cruise. Windjammer selection not very good. Excellent stateroom service and our dinner waiter (and her assistant) were great too. Drink and alcohol packages and internet are too expensive for a normal person. I believe that their overall customer service level is going down. We will stay away from the big ships like Allure in the future, I believe the service and overall experience is better on smaller ships. Most employees are trying hard but it seems that the corporate attitude is just money driven. Food was cold at times and it took long time (about 90 minutes or so) to finish dinner. Time is not a problem on vacation if the food is fresh. The problem seems to be the kitchen and/or delivery of the finished product to our waiters. Once again our waiters were great and did they best. Entertainment was very good. Nassau is probably a good port to skip. St. Thomas and St. Marteen were great. Not giving up on Royal Caribbean yet but hoping for some improvement.
