Older ship, hasn't been updated in a while=necessary
Ports of call aren't bad until you see where you are docked=Orlando=terminal with no shops, food, wi-fi; and the closest are 1-1&1/2 miles away-may be better for RCL to sell tours, but does nothing for passengers who want to get out on their own. Bahamas=only the shops close by.
Dining presented a problem. On the second day we received a call asking us to change tables [someone with a handicap required our place], we agreed. Went to dinner only to find-nobody knew anything about the change, even though the staff [waiter, assistant & maitre 'd] tried to straighten things out, it delayed dinner for the table, at least 30-45 minutes. Totally unnecessary. They couldn't find the wine, didn't know a gluten free meal was necessary. Could have been avoided if the new table had been informed. Complained to guest services, they said they would get it corrected. They didn't seem inclined to do so & informed me the matter was taken care of. Maybe for them but not for us. Outrageous wine package and bottle prices. Food really not that good, luckily wife could get Indian food [since so many of the crew are] made things a little easier.Gluten free-not really geared for, not only at dinner, but throughout the dining/eating venues.
as with the rest of the ship=time to update, poor bedding & linens, good towels & bathrobes
we went on our own, have been here before, great historic are to walk around in & free bus to get you there
docked 1-1&1/2miles from anything
again not much at dock, stayed an extra day [weather conditions]
not exciting
